You might be wondering.... What's a banana got to do with crochet?? My name is Heather, but many know me as Thesillybanana. And it just so happens that this banana LOVES to crochet. I picked up the nickname "thesillybanana" my freshman year of college. As you might have guess, it really stuck! I had no idea when I used it for my email that it would still be with me in such a big way. A few years ago I was looking for a hat and scarf to wear on a trip I was taking to Illinois. I love all things BRIGHT and COLORFUL. Sadly at the time there were so few options available I was stuck with something bland and boring.
